Seeks to improve the public conversation about Muslims and intercultural relations in the U.S. and Europe by providing evidence-based arguments, facts and research findings from reputable sources.
Our Shared Europe
Creates opportunities to exchange perspectives on issues such as migration, diversity, community cohesion, inter-cultural and inter-faith dialogue and pluralism in European societies. Primary goal is to acknowledge present and past contributions of diverse communities and cultures, and especially of Muslims, in shaping contemporary European society. Activities include panel debates, conferences, expert workshops, research and exchange programs.
CEDAR
Pan-European professional network promoting leadership, diversity, empowerment and positive perceptions of European Muslims. Hosts programs and activities, such as meetings with European leaders and inspirational events and in-mosque mentoring for Muslim youth.
Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN)
Network of nonprofit investigative journalism organizations that conduct training, produce stories, provide resources and encourage the creation of similar nonprofit groups.
Center for Independent Journalism: Budapest
Nonprofit, non-political organization offering professional programs and training, and hosting and coordinating events for other organizations, in order to promote independent media and ethical, fact-based journalism in Hungary.
International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX)
International nonprofit dedicated to quality education, independent media and strong communities. Programming includes conflict resolution, technology, gender and youth. Field offices in 17 countries and partners in more than 100 countries. IREX Projects and Regions pages show how IREX has been involved with individual countries.
